Please send me a message explaining what you wish to use it for before using any of my artwork(unless the piece states it is free to use). If you wish to share the work on a blog, it is usually fine so long as you link back or leave the copyright watermark intact.
I do not allow people to use my characters, as they are my own roleplay and story characters. They have specific personalities, backgrounds, family members, and they don't want to be changed by you! Creating characters is so much fun, I don't know why anyone would want to steal one!
* That being said, if you love my character's design, feel free to do fanart or gift art, I would love to see them in your style!
• Can I trace, redraw, copy your artwork?
I don't mind if you use my work as a reference, however that does not mean you can copy it exactly. &

Losing Altitude: A Very Birdy BookGather 'round, my bird and bird-admiring friends!
If you've spent any amount of time in my gallery, I'm sure you have guessed by now that I am passionate about birds. I have been since I was a toddler-- literally-- and saving birds through awareness has always been a goal of mine. It's one reason I am honored to announce that my work along with the work of many other very talented artists are going to be featured in a book called "Losing Altitude". It is an art book, showcasing endangered bird species that need help. One of the biggest hurdles facing endangered birds and steps to help them is awareness-- it's true that we are often bombarded with imagery of more charismatic, well-known animals such as leopards, tigers, and pandas. All of them are very deserving of our help, but birds are also facing some serious issues and not many people know about it.
That's one reason a book like this is pretty awesome. The more well known the book gets, the better the chances that people will see--

The Powerful Gimp Tool That You May Not Be UsingHey guys, I wanted to chat a bit about a very cool tool that I don't think is used enough, especially in the realm of photomanipulation. Of course, I'm talking about Layer Masks. A layer mask allows you to dynamically change what parts of a layer are visible, and not visible by using a grayscale image parallel to your layer. I use layer masks constantly, but that doesn't mean I don't use the eraser tool too. With some proper planning, it's amazing what you can do with these things.

What would happen if the moon arrived on the night of an important holiday? Would there be a catastrophic blood-bath on a party? Or perhaps a lonely night for a werewolf? Be creative! What would a werewolf do if forced into their wolfen shape on the night of an important holiday (Please keep it a december holiday)

Purina is killing pets- READ!If your a animal lover/owner, please read this its important. We need to spread the word.
I buy Purina for my Rat, gladly she's not gotten Ill from it but I don't plan to buy it anymore for her, just to be safe. I'm assuming its only Dog and Cat food right now but who knows how long that'll last right? Anyways.
Heres a site that shows a whole bunch of customer complains regarding the subject. And apparently purina isn't wanting to take blame for these happenings, and won't do nothing about it. Seems as though they don't care.
IF YOU FEED YOUR PET (Dog or Cat) PURINA PLEASE DONT ANYMORE. Choose a different brand that isn't on a recall list, and give them that. I've read some really horrid stories. Be warned some are graphic but it must be said.
I'm ashamed to have supported this company in the past. My dog (and all my past dogs) have always ate Purina Pro plan, and luckily this wasn't an issue back then, and I'm glad my current dog (Cole) doesn't like Purina.

Speedpaint Tip #2: Colors & LightWhen you approach the topic you intend to paint, whether painting from life or from whatever's stewing in your head, you always, always come to the table with preconceptions. For instance, think of the color of a leaf.
Yes. Green.
Or is it? In a speedpainting, objects aren't out of context of their setting or light source(s), so lets consider where that leaf is before we determine its color. Say it's a leaf at midnight under a full moon. What color will it be then?
Well, technically this is where it gets complicated!
1) When considering what the color of an object should be in a scene, start by figuring out what color it would be under plain white light.
-In the case of our leaf, lets say it would be green. Standard, out-of-the-tube green.
-Remember, light is additive. White light is ALL colors of light. When white light hits our green leaf, we see green, because only the colors of our leaf get reflected back out for our eyes to see. The red light gets absorbed rather than refl

Speedpaint Tip #3: Custom BrushesMuch of speedpainting is about attempting to create a convincing image, even though (often) the subject matter is entirely invented by the artist. Primarily this is done through the use of convincing lighting, atmosphere, forms, and perspective...but texture also plays a role. This is where custom brushes come in handy.
When you're painting a scene in a limited amount of time, you can't waste what time you have detailing every texture in the image. Instead, you can use custom/texture brushes strategically to imply these textures while allowing you to focus on detailing the most important aspects of the image. When the viewer sees your painting, the hope is that the textures will tell them enough about the nature of a surface or of objects that they accept it as "natural" while you call their attention to the intended focal points. Texture itself should generally not be the focus. It should support the rest of the image.
